William R. Cross

Vice President, Eaton Vance Management

William R. Cross is a Vice-President at Eaton Vance Management, a Boston-based investment manager and serves as an analyst selecting stocks for the Large-Cap Value portfolio.  He covers several industries including chemicals and healthcare services.  Mr. Cross joined Eaton Vance in 1996 and founded its Real Estate Investment Group, which he led for ten years (2001-2011).  Prior to joining Eaton Vance, Mr. Cross was President of Corinthian Capital Corporation, a private equity firm based in Chicago, and worked previously for Alan Patricof Associates (a predecessor firm of Apax Partners), and for Corning Inc.  He received his BA from Yale College magna cum laude in 1981, and his MBA from Harvard University in 1986.  He serves on the Board of The Cape Ann Museum (Gloucester, MA) and has served in the past on many other for-profit and not-for-profit boards, including those of Christ Church (Hamilton, MA), Christians in the Visual Arts (Madison, WI), and the Museum of Biblical Art (aka MOBIA, formerly New York, NY). He resides in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts with his wife and two sons.  He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
