Laura is a fourth-year doctoral student in Hebrew Bible at Yale. She is currently writing her dissertation on the relationship between archival practices and historiography in the books of Ezra-Nehemiah. Her other research interests include feminist and literary interpretations of the prophets, as well as grief and trauma studies and the book of Lamentations. Laura holds a BA in English Literature at Gordon College (Mass.). She completed her MDiv at Yale Divinity School in 2011.
